Alternate Health Officers report on all aspects of the company's key businesses and strategies, and is responsible for managing and communicating information to the public pertaining to the company's operations, managerial organization, and financial standing.

Dr. Michael Murphy, MD
Chairman and
Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Michael Murphy M.D. attended the University of Texas College of Pharmacy and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. After medical school, he completed an internship in internal medicine and then a residency in anesthesiology where he served as chief resident for the Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital and the Bexar County Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. During his 30 plus years of private practice in pain medicine, he founded, operated and eventually sold multiple different health care related ventures. These include multiple ambulatory surgical centers, doing over 45,000 cases per year, 2 large surgical hospitals, an 80,000-square foot medical office campus, an imaging center, physical therapy center and a large medical laboratory. In addition to the medical ventures, he also helped found The Bank of San Antonio where he currently sits on the Board of Directors as well as a registered independent investment company. Dr. Murphy also spoke nationally for Medtronic Neurological and was their keynote speaker for their national sales conference. He has also taught physician practice management seminars across the country for many years. In addition, Dr. Murphy was the founder and Chairman of the Board of what is now one of the largest independent medical groups (anesthesiology) in the country.

Dr. Murphy has established himself as a serial entrepreneur and angel investor. He is also an active member of a group from all over the country that meets to discuss ways to give back to our communities and the world.

Chris Boling
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Boling has over 20 years of experience working in roles of senior financial leadership for global publicly traded firms such as Textron and Pirelli S.p.A. where he held the positions Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Director of Accounting, and Business Unit Controller.

Mr. Boling joined Alternate Health in September 2017 as the Vice President of Finance where he worked to consolidate financial operations in San Antonio Texas. On 25 January 2018, Mr. Boling was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining Alternate Health, Mr. Boling spent the last 5 years working at the CFO level for high-growth technology companies in the additive manufacturing and solar energy industries. In these roles, he was responsible for establishing U.S. operations, managing a $250M credit facility, and preparing a public debt offering.

Mr. Boling holds a B.B.A in Accounting and has a Master’s of Business Administration. Mr. Boling is also a graduate of Pirelli’s senior leadership program at the University of Bocconi and holds a Certified Public Accountant license in the State of Georgia. In addition, he holds several professional certifications in IFRS, Six-Sigma, and project management.

Mr. Boling currently lives in Round Rock Texas with his wife and three children

Marcelin O’Neill
Chief Compliance Officer

Marcelin O’Neill, currently the Chief Compliance Officer of Alternate Health Corp., also served as a Director of Alternate Health from October 2014 to February 2017. Ms. O’Neill served as a Director of Cervantes Capital Corp. from October 2014 to October 2015, and as Director and CEO from January 2017 to February 2018. Ms. O’Neill functioned as a Director of Jagercor Energy Corp. from December 2011 to May 2014, and as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Jagercor, from July 2013 to May 2014. She served as a director of Brandenburg Energy Corp. from February 2008 to February 2013, and as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary from August 2010 to February 2013. Ms. O'Neill served as the Vice President of Corporate Affairs of Mandalay Resources Corporation from April 2009 to March 2010, and from April 2007 until May 2008, she served as a director of Mandalay. Since 1994 Ms. O'Neill has worked with such companies as Augusta Resource Corporation, Westcoast Energy Inc., and the Lundin Group. In 1987, Ms. O'Neill graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where she studied Business Management, and has successfully completed the CSC and the CPH, both with honors. Ms. O'Neill is the managing director of Accrete Consulting Inc., a company which provides corporate governance and management services to public companies. With over 24 years of experience in public company management, Ms. O’Neill brings a varied scope of knowledge to the companies with which she works.

James Griffiths
Senior Vice President of Finance

Mr. James Griffiths is a current member of the Board of Trustees of the Center for Addiction and Mental Health ("CAMH") in Toronto, Jim has a Masters in Business Administration, is a chartered accountant, and has over 30 years of experience in the real estate development/financing industries. He was the Vice President Finance of Genstar Property Corporation and the President of First City Development Corp. He was also President and director of RealFund, Canada's first public Real Estate Investment Trust and Krystal Bond Inc.

During his career, he has had responsibility for real estate asset acquisitions and sales of over $2 billion. In addition he is very experienced in financing real estate and has negotiated and placed real estate loans in an amount exceeding $2.5 billion. Jim was a past director of Pinetree Capital Inc., the Canadian Institute of Public Real Estate Companies and was the Founding Chairman of the Association of Foreign Investors in U.S. Real Estate. He is currently a director of Allied Properties Real Estate Investment Trust, Enssolutions Group Inc., and Champion Partners and is President of KLC Capital Investment Corporation, which provides financial advisory services.

Jade Green
Vice President of
Sales & Marketing

After starting college at just 16, Jade Green studied Biochemistry and ultimately received her Bachelors of Science from the University of Florida at 20 years old. She began her career in pharmaceutical sales before founding her own medical sales company at 21, where she eventually managed over 25 employees as CEO.  Jade’s involvement in the medical cannabis industry began in 2014 when she invested in a company competing for one of five vertically-integrated medical cannabis licenses authorized by the state of Florida. In addition to the capital investment, she also provided direct application support by developing a 16-page strategic marketing plan to be included for the required portion of the license application. In 2016, that company was awarded one of the exclusive licenses to cultivate, manufacture and dispense medical cannabis across the state, of which Jade is still an owner. In May of 2017, Jade accepted her current position as VP of Sales and Marketing with Alternate Health; Jade will use her sales and management experience to ensure the company continues its fast-paced growth and demonstrates exceptional revenue trajectories.

Jay Briggs
Vice President of

Jay Briggs has over 10 years of experience as a business leader, entrepreneur and investor. Before accepting his position at Alternate Health, Jay led matrixed teams of software and product developers for USAA, a Fortune 500 company, and built a reputation as an innovator and collaborator. Jay also spent several years working in the financial services industry as a Certified Financial Planner and registered investment adviser. Jay studied business in college at the undergraduate and graduate levels; he most recently received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Jay will use his experience and business acumen to establish Alternate Health as a world-class organization, and he is dedicated to the company’s mission of bringing revolutionary management solutions to the medical cannabis industry.
